<br /> According to Reuters, Chicago mayor says he will not seek a third term.<br />Chicago’s mayor, Rahm Emanuel, said that he will not seek re-election next year as his second term as Mayor comes to a close.<br />“This has been the job of a lifetime, but it is not the job for a lifetime,” Emanuel told reporters.<br />In recent months, anti-violence protesters have called for Emanuel’s resignation as the city continues to be plagued by shootings, largely on the South and West sides of the city. <br />
