<p>Large fires burned in Basra, Iraq, on the night of September 5 as demonstrators rallied against the killing of six protesters over the past two days of demonstrations.</p><p>Al Arabiya</a> reported protesters had set fire to municipal buildings in Basra. It was not clear at the time of writing which buildings were set on fire.</p><p>Basra has been rocked by unrest for months, amid anger over problems with the water supply, infrastructure, and lack of economic opportunity in the oil-rich Iraqi province.
