Staying in Japan...<br />A powerful earthquake measuring magnitude-6.7 has hit Hokkaido, causing walls to collapse and sparking black outs.<br /> The U.S. Geological Survey said Thursday's tremor struck just over 100 kilometers southeast of the city of Sapporo at a depth of 66 kilometers.<br />No tsunami warning was issued. <br />Local police say people are trapped under collapsed buildings, but there are no reports of any casualties yet.<br />The quake came shortly after parts of southern Japan were battered by the strongest typhoon to hit in 25 years. <br />
