The Japanese government has admitted that a man who worked at the earthquake-stricken Fukushima nuclear power plant died after radiation exposure. <br /> The man in his 50s was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2016.<br />This is the first death that Tokyo has acknowledged as being due to radiation from the meltdown during the 2011 tremor. <br />The Japanese government had previously only linked the radiation to illnesses in four workers. <br />Tokyo's health ministry has decided to compensate the man's family. <br />
