Truck drivers driving on Interstate 5 in Lakehead, Shasta County, were forced to abandon their vehicles as the fast-moving Delta Fire encroached on September 5.<br /><br />This video, filmed on the southbound lane of the interstate near the La Moine exit, shows a semi-trailer truck scorched by the flames and a pile of debris still burning.<br /><br />According to local media, the fire was reported just before 1 pm and attended to by over 600 personnel. Officials shut down the busy interstate in both directions as the fire spread dangerously close.<br /><br />As of Wednesday night, the fire stood at around 2,000 acres with no containment.
