<p>A dog found wandering the streets of Houston, Texas, with a shoelace embedded so deep into his neck, his face had become extremely swollen, underwent a facial massage at Texas A&M Small Animal Clinic to help relieve the damage.</p><p>The dog, named Gus, was rescued by Houston K-911 Rescue</a> and underwent several surgeries</a> to remove the scarred tissue around his neck caused by the shoelace.</p><p>On September 5, a video was shared by the rescue organization showing Gus enjoying a massage at Texas A&M Small Animal Clinic</a> to help reduce the swelling on his face and neck.</p><p>The dog also had to wear some special glasses during the procedure and seemed to be enjoying the experience.
