<p>Basra residents protested at the provincial governor’s office for the third day in a row on September 6, escalating unrest that has rocked the southern Iraqi city for months.</p><p>Demonstrators waved the Iraqi flag from atop the governor’s office during Thursday’s protest.</p><p>Since the Basra protest movement began in July, 22</a> people have been killed and scores injured.
