Police and SWAT teams arrived on the scene of a shooting at a car dealership in Tacoma on September 6, where the gunman had taken several people hostage as he continued to make rounds.<br /><br />According to local media, the activity was concentrated on Pacific Avenue and 134th street. The gunman stormed Sky Motors at around 8 pm, holding four people at gunpoint and taking one person hostage in the back room. Deputies were able to safely rescue the remaining hostage.<br /><br />The gunman also fired rounds at deputies, shooting one officer who was not gravely injured due to wearing a full body armour.<br /><br />He was later shot and taken into custody.
