<p>Firefighters aboard a special fire-fighting train joined the effort to contain the Delta Fire in Shasta County, California on September 7, spraying water on forests along the tracks near the Sacramento River.</p><p>The Delta Fire was zero percent contained on September 8, and officials closed</a> sections of I-5 to traffic in both directions, warning that the fire posed a significant risk to residents in the area.</p><p>In this footage, firefighters on a train equipped with hoses and a water tank sprayed water from the train tracks on the slopes above and below.</p><p>On September 9</a>, the Delta fire was burning over 40,000 acres and was 5 percent contained.
