Police said they were held on suspicion of aggravated battery and causing bodily harm resulting in death, the report said. A police spokesman said the victim died of heart failure that was “not directly caused by the injuries suffered”.</p><p>This video shows protesters gathering in Kothen while police officers watch on.</p><p>The incident comes just two weeks after another German man was stabbed to death in the eastern city of Chemnitz, which sparked far-right protests.
