Staying with the pre-summit developments.<br />Seoul's National Security Adviser held phone talks with his Russian counterpart on Monday to brief him on the outcome of his recent trip to the North.<br /> The Blue House confirmed the 35-minute phone call between Chung Eui-yong and Nikolai Patrushev,... the secretary of the Security Council of Russia.<br />The two shared views on issues regarding the Korean Peninsula and ways to develop bilateral relations between Seoul and Moscow.<br />They also agreed to maintain close communication and cooperate to realize denuclearization and establish permanent peace in the region.<br /> The Blue House also confirmed that Chung also spoke with U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton on Monday evening, Korea time.<br />The two pledged to cooperate closely together in light of the upcoming inter-Korean summit. <br />
