The U.S. State Department said it will "respond accordingly", were North Korea not to keep its promise to denuclearize, in response to a news report that Pyeongyang had been ramping up efforts to conceal its nuclear activity.<br /> According to VOA News on Tuesday, an official from the U.S. State Department said, (quote) “We take Kim Jong-un at his word that he intends to denuclearize. If we find that is not the case, we will respond accordingly."<br />The response comes after NBC News, citing three senior U.S. officials, reported that North Korea has been building structures to obscure the entrance to a warhead storage facility. <br />
