According to Reuters, an interstate highway running through California is open again.<br />A massive wildfire in northern California forced authorities to close Interstate 5 in both directions.<br />The Delta Fire is burning about 250 miles north of San Francisco, near the border with Oregon.<br />So far, the blaze has charred 47,000 acres of dry mountain timber near the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.<br />The fire sparked on Sept. 5th in a canyon along the Sacramento River. <br />
