A group of villagers managed to rescue a dog from a well in northern India.<br /><br />Footage captured on September 10 near Gursai Nallaha shows the dog stranded in a water tank. <br /><br />The group, unwilling to touch the stray dog, carries out a long rescue effort involving ropes and sticks.<br /><br />Eventually, the dog is lifted from the hole and runs away.
