High tide combined with strong easterly winds from the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon brought flooding to the streets of Annapolis on September 9.<br /><br />This video, filmed in the Maryland capital at around 7 pm, shows cars navigating through waterlogged roads as Severn River overflowed.<br /><br />According to local media, a number of streets were closed off due to flooding and surrounding counties were placed under a flood watch.<br /><br />Forecasts predict more rain through Monday ahead of Tropical Storm Florence, which authorities say could make landfall as a major hurricane later in the week as it moves further east.
