A woman has been flown to hospital after a reported stabbing in Anglesea Road, Woolwich, south-east London.<br /><br />Video shows the air ambulance taking off this morning (September 10) from the scene carrying the injured woman.<br /><br />An image of the man sought by Metropolitan Police has been released. He is Peter Morley, aged 35, and should not be approached by members of the public, police said.<br /><br />In a statement, Metropolitan Police said that they were called at around 9:30am to reports of a stabbing at Anglesea Road, SE18.<br /><br />"Officers attended. At the scene a woman, believed in her 30s, was found suffering from a number of stab wounds to her back," the statement said.<br /><br />"The injured woman was taken by London's Air Ambulance [HEMS] to a central London hospital. We await an update on her condition but at this early stage do not believe that her injuries will be deemed life-threatening.<br /><br />"Officers from Greenwich are on scene and a crime scene and road closures are in place. The suspect was known to the victim.<br /><br />"At this early stage there has been no arrest."
