A man carrying a meat cleaver has been arrested in Hull city centre after he tried to set two banks on fire.<br /><br />Footage captured today (September 11) shows the town centre locked off after police intercepted the man in the Barclays on the corner of King Edward Street and Paragon Street.<br /><br />The suspect was apprehended as armed police swooped on the city centre at about 1 pm.
