This year's Seoul Defense Dialogue,... an annual forum hosted by the nation's defense ministry,... kicked off this morning at the Westin Chosun Seoul.<br /> Some six hundred defense officials and experts from 52 countries and three international organizations have registered for the three-day event.<br />The opening ceremony will be held Thursday morning,... with speeches by the Director of National Security Chung Eui-yong ,... and Minister of National Defense Song Young-moo .<br />Along with a series of bilateral and multilateral talks between vice-ministerial level officials,.... there will be sessions on a range of issues,... including denuclearization of the Korean peninsula,.... defense cooperation for international peacekeeping activities,... and maritime security cooperation. <br />
