<br /> A German consumer protection group is bringing a class action lawsuit against VW.<br />According to Reuters, the association vzbz made the announcement on Tuesday.<br />Alongside auto club ADAC, the group will sue over VW’s emissions software manipulation.<br />Known as "emissionsgate," the Volkswagen scandal began in September 2015.<br />That's when the United States Environmental Protection Agency first took action. <br />The EPA issued a notice of violation of the Clean Air Act to the German automaker. <br />
