Police pull mother’s car over – look at her son’s face and say: “Step outside the vehicle!”

When you are out driving and get pulled over by the police, it’s perfectly natural to get a little nervous. You wonder what you did wrong. Was I speeding? Is one of my taillights out?
And for Adrienne Hudson and her 7-year-old son, Jacob, getting pulled over was an anxious experience, at least at first…

Seven-year-old Jacob has a disorder called PANDAS, which stands for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections. Symptoms include obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Tourette syndrome-like symptoms, separation anxiety, memory loss and hyperactivity.
It also means that Jacob often gets anxious. And when the police pulled his mom’s car over, he sat in the backseat worrying.

Two officers got out of their cruiser and knocked on Jacob’s mom’s car window. She answered all of their questions calmly and politely.
But even though Jacob’s mom was calm, the same cannot be said about poor Jacob. He got stressed out watching the police officers give his mother a speeding ticket.
The officers could tell and said to Jacob, “How old are you? Seven? Do you like police cars?”

Then they showed Jacob their police car, let him sit in it and took some pictures of him sitting inside, looking happy and proud.
