Nicki Minaj Has yet to Pay Geoffrey Owens a Dime Nicki Minaj recently pledged to help 'Cosby Show' actor Geoffrey Owens, who was down on his luck and working at Trader Joe's. Minaj announced on her <br />Queen Radio show that <br />she would gift Owens with <br />$25,000 to help him out. According to sources close to the <br />situation, Minaj and her team have not <br />yet handed over any money or even gotten <br />in contact with Owens for that matter. However, TMZ reports that Owens <br />is not looking for a hand out, and if Minaj did end up giving him money he would likely donate it <br />to charity. Owens has had much recognition since being found at Trader Joe's. The actor has joined Tyler Perry's <br />'The Haves and the Have Nots' and <br />landed a gig on 'NCIS: New Orleans.'
