We have a format known as the six-party talks, and the international community can give such guarantees."<br /><br />Referring to the six-party framework,... the Russian leader seemed to stress the need for other nuclear powers to play a bigger role in the discussions aimed at denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula. <br /> Putin also said North Korea has made progress to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula,... yet such efforts were met with no response from Washington.<br /><br /> "North Korea has taken certain steps on denuclearization, it has destroyed its nuclear testing ground, but it's clearly waiting for some signals in response.
