Parts of Hawaii were hit with heavy rain and powerful winds on Wednesday, September 12, as Tropical Storm Olivia made landfall first in Maui and later on Lanai island.<br /><br />This video, filmed by Jennifer Juniper Frey in Maui, shows muddy floodwaters rushing on Lower Honoapiilani Highway in Kahana.<br /><br />Authorities issued a flash flood warning for Molokai and Maui as Storm Olivia dumped rain on Big Island, with forecasters saying that five to ten inches of rain could fall in the state.
