Flash Flooding Hits Maui as Storm Olivia Lashes Hawaii

<p>Tropical Storm Olivia lashed Hawaii on Wednesday, September 12, causing flash flooding at a major road on the island of Maui.</p><p>According to</a> the Maui County government, residents at Lower Honoapiilani Road had to be evacuated due to rising waters in a nearby river.</p><p>There were also reports of mudslides and landslides</a> in the county.</p><p>Flash flood warning for the whole island of Maui is in effect</a> until 7:15 pm on Wednesday.</p><p>Authorities also issued a flash flood watch</a> to Oahu, Hawaii County and Kauai County.</p><p>These videos, shared on September 12, show flash flooding at Lower Honoapiilani Road in Kahana, and damaged roads when the floodwater receded.
