The World Health Organization says... there’s a very low chance of MERS spreading in South Korea despite the one recent confirmed case of the virus. <br /> Mike Ryan, the organization's assistant director-general for emergencies said,... Korea's response following a confirmed MERS case was very good and surprisingly different from three years ago in 2015. <br />He added that the possibility of MERS spreading in Korea is not zero, but is very low. <br />The organization's investigation into the spread of the virus is still ongoing.... and it will dispatch a team of experts to Korea as well. <br />Ryan pledged a full investigation to find where and how the Korean patient was exposed to MERS. <br />
