Watch Hurricane Florence <br />Make Landfall in the Carolinas Hurricane Florence continued <br />its path across southeastern <br />United States, pounding the Carolinas with powerful winds <br />and warnings of “life-threatening” storm surge <br />and rainfall. The storm made landfall in <br />North Carolina shortly after <br />7 a.m, according to the <br />National Hurricane Center. More than 400,000 are without power. While the storm may have <br />weakened to a Category 1, it <br />still packs a powerful punch. Hurricane Florence is expected to <br />continue to pummel parts of North <br />and South Carolina through Friday.
