In the end, the current governor snagged 65.6% of the vote, while his competitor grabbed 34.4%.<br /><br /><br /><br />After the race was called and the winner was declared, the actress-turned politician took to the podium</a> to provide her supporters with a rallying and hopeful concession speech. <br /><br /><br /><br />She later posted a slew of Twitter updates</a> echoing her sentiments.</p><br /><p>She wrote in part, “While the result tonight wasn’t what we had hoped for, I’m not discouraged. I’m inspired. I hope you are too. We have fundamentally changed the political landscape in this state. This isn’t just a symbolic victory.
