The International Olympic Committee has welcomed South Korea raising the possibility of jointly hosting the Summer Olympics with North Korea. <br />Speaking to Radio Free Asia on Friday,... the IOC's Director of Communications, Mark Adams, said the committee is closely watching the ongoing inter-Korean negotiations,... adding that, if they agree to co-host the 2032 Summer Olympics, the committee would cooperate.<br />He said he hopes the Olympics can open the door to a peaceful future on the Korean Peninsula...building on the success of the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. <br />The IOC official's remarks come after South Korea's sports minister raised the idea of launching a joint bid earlier this week. <br />
