Despite his Treasury Secretary's attempts to revive trade talks with China, U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly told his aides to press ahead with a new round of tariffs on an extra 200 billion U.S. dollars in Chinese products. <br /> Citing sources familiar with the matter,.. Bloomberg reports that President Trump has told his top trade advisors that he "wasn't concerned" about their impact on negotiations with China. <br />With the public comment period for the new round of tariffs expiring last week, President Trump said the duties will be imposed soon. <br />The White House has not commented on the Bloomberg report. <br />This comes as the U.S. already placed a 25 percent duty on 50 billion dollars of Chinese imports. <br />
