Robbers may have attempted to steal the cash from an ATM machine in the quiet English town of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria.<br /><br />A video showed the cash dispenser had been damaged in the incident at the local Co-op supermarket.<br /><br />The shop was cordoned off by police as they investigated.<br /><br />"It was obvious to see that the ATM machine had been broken into, which is the second time this has happened in the town," the filmer said.<br /><br />"There are also rumours that the safe had been targeted by the robbers as well," he said.
