After days of misery following tropical storm Florence some good vibes were felt in a North Carolina shelter on Saturday as one of its residents sang to lift everyone's spirits.<br /><br />Cathy Yolanda Wright has been sheltering from the storm at Trent Park Elementary School which has been transformed into an evacuation centre. Cathy is 44-years-old and is disabled and was rescued from her house yesterday by a local man. The whole dinner line joined in her singing which cheered up many including children.<br /><br />Florence slammed into the North Carolina coast as a large hurricane Friday, dumping nearly three feet (1 meter) of rain and swelling the region's rivers. The resulting flooding forced swift-water rescues and left several people dead.
