Abandoned Rental Car Causes Temporary Closure of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

<p>Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor was temporarily closed on Sunday, September 16, after an abandoned rental car was found outside of the building, leading to a bomb squad callout, the cancellation of flights and crowds of angry would-be fliers.</p><p>According to reports from AZ Central</a> and FOX 10</a>, the car was spotted by police officers at about 7 am, and a bomb squad were dispatched to determine whether or not the vehicle was a threat. The airport shut down and did not open again until about 11:15 am.</p><p>This footage, taken from the interior of the airport, shows crowds of inconvenienced passengers.</p><p>At the time of writing, the owner of the rental car had not yet been identified.
