Two suspected members of a criminal gang have been gunned down near Kongowea market in Mombasa county.<br /><br />Police in Nyali are reported to have pounced on the duo as they attempted to rob residents few meters from the market.<br /><br />Mombasa police boss Johnston Ipara who confirmed the incident alleged that the deceased were linked to the killing of a peace committee member stationed in Kisauni.<br /><br />
