<p>The Pasco Sheriff’s Office praised the work of a K9 and deputy for arresting a man who tried to kidnap a child in New Port Richey, Florida, on September 17.</p><p>Police said the chase began after Sergeant Ferguson and a K9 named Titan responded to a call for battery and the attempted kidnapping at a residence.</p><p>Local reports said</a> the suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Kevin Wilson, arrived at a home and climbed up to a second-floor window. The suspect had a no contact order in place at the residence and the residents were known to the suspect.</p><p>The mother at the residence allowed the man inside and he tried to kidnap the child during an argument, local reports said, citing police</a>.</p><p>The suspect then fled the scene and was chased by police.
