Trees lie on their sides and telephone wires are ripped from their posts as strong winds blow during Storm Ali.<br /><br />Storms and high winds struck the British Isles Wednesday, mostly impacting Ireland and Scotland. Homes were left without power and at least two people died. <br /><br />One woman died when her caravan was blown off a cliff in the Republic of Ireland and another man was killed when a tree fell on him.
