Chlamydia-Stricken Koala Recovers in Australian Wildlife Sanctuary

<p>A koala is recovering in Port Stephens Koalas Sanctuary in New South Wales, after it was found with severely damaged eyes.</p><p>The marsupial, named Glen William Clarence, was being treated for chlamydia which had manifested in painful ulcers on his eyelids.</p><p>This didn’t stop Clarence embracing the koala breeding season, with his handler remarking in the video uploaded to Facebook</a> that he was scent marking logs in the hope of attracting a female.
