Gary Cohn was reportedly approached by Wells Fargo about the bank's CEO position. <br /><br />Wells Fargo board members are said to have approached Cohn. He was approached soon after his departure from the White House in March.<br /><br />Business Insider reports Cohn has denied that he was still in talks.<br /><br />Wells Fargo has been hit by a string of scandals and public relations messes. Most notably the fraudulent accounts scandal that emerged in 2016. The scandal led to the ousting of CEO John Stumpf. <br />
