A huge crowd attended the funeral of Mohammad Abu Naji, a 34-year-old Palestinian who was, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, shot dead by Israeli forces.<br /><br />Footage captured today (September 20) shows a group of men carrying the wrapped-up body as they walk in the streets of Beit Lahia surrounded by a crowd of people waving Palestinian flags.<br /><br />Naji was shot on Tuesday when taking part in a protest near Erez against cuts in funding by the United States to the main United Nations refugee agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA.<br /><br />A second man was also killed by Israeli fire at the protest, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, agencies reported. He has been named as Ahmad Mohammad Omar, 20.<br /><br />More than 30 others were wounded.
