<p>A tornado tore through Gatineau, Quebec, on Friday, September 21, filling the sky with debris.</p><p>The Weather Channel confirmed a tornado</a> struck Ottawa and Quebec on Friday afternoon, damaging homes and cars and causing power outages to more than 16,000 people.</p><p>Several roofs were torn off homes, according to CTV</a>. Ottawa Fire Services reported</a> a house collapse and flying debris.</p><p>Ottawa paramedics said</a> they responded to calls from patients trapped in houses, basements and cars, as well as patients who had injuries from debris and high winds.
