Mass exodus begins as South Koreans head out of Seoul to enjoy Chuseok

One of South Korea's biggest holidays, Chuseok, or 'Korean Thanksgiving' is just around the corner. <br />It's a time when families from near and far gather together.<br />And with the five-day holiday starting today, the mass exodus from the capital region has already begun.<br />Traffic out of Seoul reportedly peaked earlier this morning,... and is expected to remain heavy until at around 10 or 11 at night.<br />The journey to Busan, South Korea's southern port city,... is expected to take around 6 hours by car, which is about 2 hours longer than normal. <br />To Gwangju, it will take slightly over 4 and a half hours,... and to Gangneung, around three and a half hours.<br />But the traffic coming into Seoul is not too different from an average Saturday. <br />
