On Thursday, Wells Fargo said it would cut its staff by about 5% to 10% within the next three years.<br />Wells Fargo is third biggest bank in the U.S., according to Business Insider.<br />The bank has 265,000 employees.<br />The cuts would encompass as much as 26,500 people.<br />Wells have been hit with a range of problems over the last several years.<br />Most recently was the fake account scandal of 2016.<br />Employees had opened millions of customer accounts without their consent in order to meet sales targets. <br />
