<p>A wildfire that broke out on Saturday, September 22, in the Castaic area of southern California had grown</a> to about 3,000 acres within hours.</p><p>The fire, which was first reported at 2:40 pm at Charlie Canyon Road, forced road closures</a> and could be seen</a> as far as the San Fernando Valley.</p><p>Evacuation orders were in place for some parts of San Francisquito Canyon Road, authorities said</a>.</p><p>Los Angeles County Fire Department inspector Joey Marron said that</a> 120 firefighters three helicopters and two Super Scooper aircraft were deployed to tend the blaze.
