<p>A wildfire broke out in the Castaic area of southern California and grew</a> to about 3,000 acres within hours, on Saturday, September 22.</p><p>The fire, which was first reported at 2:40 pm at Charlie Canyon Road, forced road closures</a> and could be seen</a> as far as the San Fernando Valley.</p><p>Evacuation orders were in place for some parts of San Francisquito Canyon Road, authorities said</a>.</p><p>Los Angeles County Fire Department inspector Joey Marron said that</a> 120 firefighters three helicopters and two Super Scooper aircraft were deployed to tend the blaze.</p><p>This video shows the fire from Santa Clarita.
