<p>Jules Casey was freediving along Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula when she spotted a mollusc on a mission in Port Phillip Bay.</p><p>In this video, the speedy scallop suddenly decides it’s time to move, huffing and puffing its way through the water by opening and shutting its shell.</p><p>Commenters on the post speculated on what the scallop might be running away from, with many saying they’d never seen a scallop move before.</p><p>“Me when I see my ex,” one commenter wrote.</p><p>“Running away from a strange being with enormous glasses,” said another.</p><p>Casey said she was stoked to have caught this on camera, as she’d been trying to capture a scallop in action for a long time.
