MUNISING, MICHIGAN — A California woman met her untimely demise after trying to take the perfect snapshot on a picturesque cliff.<br /><br />The Marquette Mining Journal reports that 32-year-old Sunnyvale resident Tu Thanh Nguyen was hiking solo in Michigan's Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore when she stopped for a photo op near a cliff along the North Country trail.<br /><br />While taking a selfie, Nguyen got too close to the edge and fell 200-feet off the cliff- straight into Lake Superior.<br /><br />Two kayakers witnessed the nasty plunge and rushed to her aid. They retrieved her from the water and brought her back to shore, but the poor woman didn't make it.<br /><br />The National Park Service has deemed the incident an accident, and have already notified Nguyen's family.
