Hundreds Evacuated as Wildfire Advances Across Italy's Monte Serra

<p>The Italian Red Cross said</a> on Tuesday, September 25, said a vegetation wildfire in the province of Pisa had been blown out of control by adverse winds.</p><p>Local reports</a> said 500 people were evacuated from the region, with schools closed</a> as a precaution.</p><p>The flames, fanned by gusts of wind, were first reported at around 10pm on September 24 on Mount Serra in the commune of Calci, local news site TGCOM24 reported</a>.</p><p>Early Tuesday, the fire was headed towards Caprona in the southeast of the country and evacuations were in place.
