Parts of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York were hit by severe downpours causing flash flooding on Tuesday, September 25, turning roads into rivers during and after the rainstorm.<br /><br />This video shows vehicles driving on a flooded road after a nearby brook overflowed. The clip was filmed in Hamden, Connecticut, where authorities blocked roads and warned motorists not to drive.<br /><br />In Fairview, New Jersey, rising floodwaters forced firefighters to rescue more than 100 people from flooded factories.<br /><br />Rain is forecast to recede midnight, the National Weather Service reported.
