<p>A spring thunderstorm on Wednesday, September 26, left parts of western Sydney coated in a thick, white blanket of hailstones.</p><p>The Bureau of Meteorology</a> issued severe thunderstorm warnings for a number of regions in New South Wales including Lismore, Tenterfield, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Casino and Kyogle</a>. They said these storms were likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.</p><p>New South Wales State Emergency Service tweeted</a> they received 13 emergency calls from around the Schofields area.
