Most employment in the state of Arizona is at-will, which simply means that the employment relationship is viewed as a legal contract. Arizona's private sector employment contracts are presumed to be at-will unless a "good cause" provision within the contract outlines certain grounds for termination.
Therefore, typical Arizona employment contracts permit either the employer or employee to end the employment relationship for any lawful reason (A.R.S. 23-1501). There are, however, key exceptions that can give rise to a wrongful termination claim from an unjustly terminated employee.

Tyler Allen Law Firm, PLLC
https://www.allenlawaz.com/
4201 North 24th Street, Suite 200
Phoenix, AZ 85016
602-456-0545
