북한, 의회 회담 개최 제의 원칙적 동의<br /><br /> North Korea is apparently in favor of holding parliamentary talks with the South.<br /> The Speaker of the Assembly, Moon Hee-sang..., proposed the event in a letter to Choe Tae-bok -- the chairman of the North's Supreme People's Assembly.<br />That letter was delivered last week during the inter-Korean summit in Pyeongyang.<br />Today Choe wrote back, saying Pyeongyang agrees in principle to opening a dialogue... and that both legislatures have important roles in the implementation of the two Koreas' agreements.<br />He added the talks can be arranged after high-level South and North Korean officials meet to schedule talks in several fields in accordance with the recent Pyeongyang Declaration.<br />Choe also exprssed hopes the South Korean parliament ratifies this year's joint declarations as soon as possible. <br />
